Environmentally Responsible Recycling
PlanITROI is committed to maintaining the highest levels of environmental responsibility and takes every precaution to prevent devices from ending up in the world’s landfills or rivers PlanITROI maintains a closed-loop Environmental Management System. The company’s processes are OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and R2v3 Certified.
Proper recycling requires that the downstream partner separate the items received into their base materials, i.e., plastics, glass, metals (ferrous and non-ferrous), etc. and then grinds these materials to a form that can be remarketed as raw materials.
PlanITROI randomly audits its downstream partners and also verifies that certifications are up to date.
Certificates of Recycling are provided for all items sent through the recycling process. No items will be shown as unaccounted units.
No e-waste goes to a landfill or to an incinerator.
Our downstream partners also utilize RCRA compliant haulers for transporting the ground and separate materials to manufacturers.
In addition to U.S. federal, state and local requirements, PlanITROI holds to the WEEE requirements for the European Union and all country specific environmental regulations.

Donate
PlanITROI provides clients flexible options for donation programs.
With the No-Cost Donation Program, PlanITROI processes and remarkets enough of a client’s retired and/or surplus assets to cover the costs of a designated quantity of refurbished assets to be delivered directly to a charity partner.
PlanITROI can refurbish a client’s assets, remarket them, and provide a check on the client’s behalf directly to the charity. Assets that are processed for donation move through the same rigorous data sanitization, cleaning and repair procedures as any asset that is to be remarketed for resale.
Employee Purchase
PlanITROI has extensive experience with turnkey Employee Resale Programs. The programs enable clients to sell retired or excess computer inventory, refurbished and warranted by PlanITROI, to associates.
PlanITROI specializes in managing the complete resale program, including refurbishing and re-marketing the equipment, processing the sales transactions, managing all customer warranty and service issues, and reporting on program results.
