Devices are recertified and sold to the next user through major online retailers and resellers with an industry leading warranty, further increasing net recovery. 90%+ of devices are resold B2C through the largest retailers & specialty channels seeking OEM Recertified devices. We provide exact ship locations on all sales with reporting on geo, demo, and psychographics of the new user. This creates a newly seeded sales channel to a new demographic with no industry conflicts that can typically exist with brokers, wholesalers, and distributors. With PlanITROI’s revenue share model this program costs ZERO out of pocket refurbishment and remarketing costs – instead it’s taken out of proceeds through our real-time transparency into all costs.
ESG (Environmental Social Governance)
PlanITROI is committed to maintaining the highest level of environmental responsibility and takes every precaution to prevent devices from ending up in rivers and landfills. The Company participates in the R2 reuse program, and any equipment that cannot be refurbished (less than 10%) is sent downstream to recycling partners who separate materials to be used for future manufacturing. For each client, PlanITROI develops a transparent environmental report outlining their organization’s impact to the circular economy.
Clients also receive “impact maps” that show the communities and families that rely on their affordable technology. Providing an affordable, sustainable technology option to underserved students and those who lack access to stationary and mobile devices is critical in closing the digital divide. PlanITROI not only adds value to returned, retired and idle devices but also practices responsible disposition, so clients can be paid to actively change lives of those in low-income communities through the power of affordable technology. Since devices are sold direct to next user, clients can track their refurbished devices and the impact they are having on their local organizations and institutions. PlanITROI is also developing programs with property owners, in partnership with HUD, to provide devices directly to low-income tenants.
